that’s what my life has done today…. started today with NO plans for this whole week other than some shopping/ girl time with my cousin. and in the span of today i had a 2nd interview, and tomorrow have lunch plans (thanks shanda!) training meeting for a part time job and then my shopping with ash. oh, and i have to get the house cleaned up and ready for the mother in law and her...
well, hm..
got a call a while ago, 2nd interview this afternoon!!!
Obedience...
is really hard sometimes -especially when it comes to $$$$. I just sent in our next to last tithe of the year. probably our biggest of the year, which is a testament to how God has worked things out for us even in the midst of my not having a job for a month now. this morning i needed the reminder that if we do our small part he will do the rest.

as i am sitting here with my hot chocolate (the first thing nick’s new coffee maker made) i am thinking it was definitely an amazing christmas… a full christmas - family, love, laughter, relaxation - everything it should be. (even started the day with snow still on the ground - woohoo! even though the rain washed it all away -boo) Hope that everyone else’s was amazing too!!!! :)
Christmas Traditions...
we started a new christmas tradition this year for our family (not that the dogs care, but you know what i mean). we watch our favorite christmas movies - National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (his) and Elf (mine) - as a way to fill the time between getting home from the family dinner and going to bed so santa can come. :)

the snow and ice outside all over the yard, especially when i am inside in pj’s with my toes warm in the monkey bedroom shoes. :)
haha.. possum is struggling with how to navigate with her feet breaking through the ice with each step. is it wrong that i get amusement out of how much possum does not like walking on the ice covered snow?

my husband just smelled a tampon(un-used)… while drinking a beer… and said it smelled like flowers…. wow!

bourbon makes everything better, especially ‘battle of the sexes’ when you are way over the legal limit for driving!!!! ;)

typing gloves… i swear it is freezing at my work, and i am good with everything except typing and cold hands. it’s to the point of pain now… not even new snow falling helps right now. :(

*sigh* I miss Boone… this scene makes me want to drop everything and head up 421N and not come back, well at least not until the weather warms up and it is time to go to the beach.

We should all be thankful for people who make mistakes for us all to see and learn from (ie: the guy who was running from the HP on 85 and caused the huge traffic back up in Hillsborough)… DON’T RUN FROM THE COPS! The guy would be nice and warm right now, yea, probably in jail, but alive is better that not - don’tcha think??

my windshield was just totally replaced… at my work… in only 40 min! those guys are my new heroes. it was freakin’ cold (which i am sure motivated them to work quickly) but they did a really great job (from what i could see from the window)
yay! no cracks or chips to look through while driving home… i can really see the snow now.
